These behaviours can range from verbal attacks to physical assaults and pose a serious challenge for the affected staff and the entire medical team. Understanding the psychological principles and mechanisms that lead to such behaviours is crucial for interpreting and ultimately managing these situations. This article is dedicated to analysing the psychological basis of aggression and assaults in a medical context.
