The structural pattern already exists but remains unnoticed.
Emerging
The pattern begins generating friction, although its structural origin is not yet widely recognised.
Observable
The consequences become sufficiently visible for the structural pattern itself to be identified.
Explicit
The structural pattern is consciously recognised, understood and deliberately addressed.
Visibility does not alter the structure itself. It changes only the possibility of recognising and understanding it.
