**Remote Extraction** reverses that relationship.

A subject is photographed from deliberate physical distance and later extracted from a small part of the original frame.

The result is visual proximity without physical proximity.

Context recedes.

Detail becomes unstable.

Certainty does not necessarily increase with enlargement.

The closer the image appears to come, the less completely the subject may reveal itself.

Remote Extraction does not use distance to observe more.

It uses distance to make proximity uncertain.
