In der Entwicklungs-Dynamik des Gesundheitswesens stehen Ärzte vor einer Vielzahl von Herausforderungen. Eines der wichtigsten Themen ist hierbei die adäquate Gestaltung des Praxismanagements und die kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Prozesse, um eine optimale Patientenversorgung zu gewährleisten. Leider verzichten hierbei immer noch viele Ärzte auf das Praxismanagement-Benchmarking.
Die ambulante Medizin leidet unter einer Praxismanagement-Insuffizienz, denn die für eine auch unter wechselnden Anforderungen reibungslos funktionierende Arbeit notwendigen Regelungen, Instrumente und Verhaltensweisen, der Best Practice-Standard, werden zu fast 50% nicht eingesetzt. Das führt zu den täglich für Patienten, aber auch für Ärzte und MFA spürbaren Problemen. Eine Betriebswirtschaftliche Gesundheitsanwendung (BeGA) in Form eines Praxismanagement-Benchmarkings hilft, den Gesundheitszustand wiederherzustellen.
